Humboldt Brews is bringing Bay Area jam and dance band Plum Crazy to the North Coast on Saturday to celebrate the release of their new EP “Phone Home.”

Plum Crazy has been performing in the Bay Area and up and down the West Coast since 2003, when guitarist Josh Yenne invited the then-backup singer from Groundation to harmonize on some of his original material.

According to a news release, “Plum Crazy’s songwriting skills are evident, as they keep fans on the dance floor for hours, night after night. They effortlessly wrap classic forms of rock, folk, reggae, bluegrass, blues, funk and classical forms with vocal harmonies that uplift and motivate the audience.”
