After a two-year hiatus, the Ferndale Garden Club will once again host a Springtime Tea to benefit local scholarships and projects at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, at the Ferndale Town Hall, 834 Main Street.

In addition to tea, scones, sandwiches and other homemade goodies served in high style, prize drawings and a map to a mystery garden drive-by tour to enliven the afternoon.

Tea seating is limited, $15 tickets are available at Nilsen’s, Ferndale; Ace Hardware, Fortuna; and at Pierson’s Garden Center, Eureka. Ladies are urged to wear their favorite hats to the tea and dress up a little.
