Joan Lee Draper was born Sept. 11, 1944 and left this earth on May 4, 2008. Joan was the wife of Dennis, mother of Craig and Cliff, grandmother of Jade and Zachary, mother-in-law of Teri and Juliet, and last but not least co-worker and friend of Kim, Anju, Linda, Sandra, and Jeremy.

We were all sorry to see you go and leave us without a planned farewell. But we know, Joan, you were out doing the very thing that fueled you with hope and happiness - running in a race. Never a day went by without running, biking, walking, and climbing. For Joan these were the only reasons to be alive. Even though Joan was a very private person, she loved her family intensely and the only time she let us, her co-workers, see her loving soul was when a member of her family needed her.

In the end all any of us needs is to be loved by those closest to us and I believe, Joan, you reached that goal with true humanity.
