Picnics on the Plaza are free, family-friendly events featuring live, local music from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Arcata Main Street invites the public to come down to the Plaza on Friday. Bring your picnic gear and visit the participating restaurants to ask them about a boxed lunch to take to the square and relax downtown on the Arcata Plaza, eat lunch from a variety of local restaurants and listen to family-friendly, live, local music.
