An encore showing of the documentary "For the Bible Tells Me So" will be held Friday, Sept. 5. The film addresses personal struggle with the conflict between faith and homosexuality. Sanctuary Forest will hold the Big Red-Ancient Redwoods Hike on Saturday, September 6. Sanctuary Forest board member Stuart Moskowitz and hike program co-director Cheryl Lisin will lead the rigorous 5-6 hour hike. Participants will hike from the Mattole River to the ridge top, where they will have lunch, and back to the Mattole for a total of 4 miles.
