Timothy Edward Abeyta Jr. passed away on Aug. 21, 2008. He is survived by his mother and father, Amy Lopez and Timothy E. Abeyta of Eureka; brothers Johnny and Troy Lopez of Eureka; sisters Tierra and Alaya Abeyta of Fortuna; grandparents Kenneth and Jennifer Barrett of Eureka, John and Margaret Guthier of Fortuna; great-grandmother, Alberta “Neema” Price of Eureka and great-aunt, Alane Price of Eureka.

Jerrod Carl Dyer was born Feb. 21, 1979, in Eureka, Calif., and passed away on Aug. 21, 2008. Jerrod grew up in Eureka, Calif., and graduated from Eureka High School in 1997. He was currently attending College of the Redwoods. He was most recently employed at Myrtle Town Body Shop. Jerrod’s passion for life was hunting and fishing. His first hunting trip with his dad and grandpa was when he was 3 years old. He spent his whole life loving hunting and fishing with his dad.

Rose Trump

Rose Trump was born in Eldorado, Ill., in 1913, and moved to Detroit, Mich., in 1926. She married Dorr Trump in 1931, and gave birth to three children. They moved to Ohio in 1939, and gave birth to three more children. In 1946, she moved to California, coming across country by train by herself with six children to meet her husband who had preceded her to Arcata.

Phillip Cart-Coleman was born on May 22, 2008, and passed away on Aug. 25, 2008, in Tulley Creek. He is survived by his parents, Phillip Eugene Coleman and Ruby Raya McCovey, and his twin brother Eugene. He was a beautiful Yurok and Karuk descendent. He is also survived by siblings, Deja Dolores Coleman, Keyla Ray Coleman, Shawn Logan, and Che-mooch Logan.
