Now that the political conventions are over, Congress will soon be back in Washington doing what passes for work. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, who have been leading this, the Congress with the biggest disapproval rating on record, will probably announce legislation that they say will answer the public’s growing demand for offshore drilling for oil.
I just heard a Community Commentator on the radio remind us that the vice president is only “a heartbeat away” from becoming president, so it is important to choose a candidate who has extensive national and international experience. Of course, without mentioning her name, he was urging us not to back Gov. Sarah Palin.
