Local teams continue to win in NCS playoffs

Del Norte wins first NCS title

Eagles rally late to top wildcats

The Ferndale Lady Wildcats had a second-round Class B North Coast Section playoff win wrapped up like a baby in their arms on Wednesday at Santa Rosa. That is, until the final inning, when out of nowhere, the Rincon Valley Eagles swooped out of the sky and stole it.

Lady Warriors win in extra innings
